Author Topic: PHP Addon Domain Script  (Read 7793 times)

I am using the addon domain script and it works perfect but is it possible to make it work a little different.

What I need it to do if possible is whenn someone adds a domain and lets say they made it up and its not pointing to our servers to make it go to a page telling them it was no good to try again.

What it is Im trying to do is only when a domain was successfully added it then will take them to a page where they can create their own hosting account.

What we offer is free lifetime hosting with the purchase of 2 domain names one domain name we use for our advertising system which is what this script is for. Then one the domain we get to use is added then they can create their own hosting account and use it for whatever they want to.

Im am sure the answer is here in this part of the script:

 $url = "http://$user:$pass@$domain:2082/frontend/$skin/addon/doadddomain.html?";
$url = $url . "domain=$adomain&user=$auser&pass=$apass";
$result = @file_get_contents($url);
if ($result === FALSE) die("ERROR: Addon Domain not created. Please make sure you passed correct parameters.");
echo $result;

Anyone out there help me out on this.
