I beginn with the first steps of your script and it is very fine. Creating a new database ist very a fast work: 3 Minutes and I got http://www.warweg.com/ffm/inventory.php.

It would be very nice, if a new field-type could be created: value with/without decimals, right adjusted and a accumulation is done (at the foot of the price-column).

For a little cash account book I need an "initial value" and, at the and of a day the accumulation.

Last but not least a print-function would be very fine (generating a list).

I hope you can understand my bad english. Feel free to contact me to better explain my suggestions.

Warm regards and many thanks for your work in free software.
Yours

Hi. Will add INTEGER and DECIMAL types (would be right-aligned), with optional accumulation.

What do you mean by generating a listing? Is it text only page (without entry fields)?

I'm not sure i understand "an initial value and, at the and of a day the accumulation" statement. Should there be total at the end of each day?  Could you create and attach some image of how you see it?

By the way, English is not my native either Smiley  I'm from Ukraine

New field types:New field types: wonderfull, thank You, please write me an email, when ready.

Print:Yes, without any entry. A headline with the name of the flat file without ext (.txt), date and clock of printing, page-number, description of rows (like done in the entry-mask) and then the values of the variables, at the end summary if there are "money"-fields.

cash-account: I realized, that there must be a sort-option (for sort by day for example). Then the file is to be read and a summary is to build as a starting value. Let me say: that is the money I have in my pocket yesterday in the evening. Now I give the values of income and give away money and the value is permanently corrected when pressing the "save changes..."-Button.

Feel free to ask me further questions.

I'm sorry,

but I want to ask, wether the changings of the scripts are done or not.

I would be very lucky, if you have done that work

Warm regards
