Password Protect is a terrific and simple to use script. It works great in Mozilla and in Netscape using the IE rendering. However, I am having a problem getting it to work in IE7. All I get is an error message stating the address is invalid. Where have I gone wrong?

Thanks,
Dave

You have <html> tag twice, two <head> sections, few <title> tags.
Remove following code

<html>
<head>
  <title>Please enter your password to access Employee Information</title>
  <META HTTP-EQUIV="CACHE-CONTROL" CONTENT="NO-CACHE">
  <META HTTP-EQUIV="PRAGMA" CONTENT="NO-CACHE">
</head>
<body>

When I placed the code in the server, I inserted it as a page and not as a file. This is what created the tag redundancy. I have made the necessary changes but still cannot get it to work in IE7. The url is http://bruinpainting.com/employees_only_bruin.php.
Thanks for your help,

It Works! I corrected all MY errors and it all works great - even in IE7. Thank you for your help. Sorry to have bothered you. The script is fantastic!

Thanks,
Dave

Hi, i didnt see the point of opening another thread on the same matter. I have just started to use your script, i must say it works very well. For some reason it works perfectly fine in firefox, but not in IE7, i keep getting error, "The website declined to show this webpage"

now this is probably due to my coding but i cannot see any errors. Is there any checks to carry out or hints, i have read through the forums at lot and found no real answers.

Thanks for any help in advance

Resolved.
Moved redirect after login code header('Location: ...') just after the unset($_POST['Submit']);
