Jan Ove added comment for Thumbnail Generator

Should be a added feature to force the thumb to be 100 x 100 etc Because my gallery will use 100 x 100 thumbs and i don't want it to keep one side 100 and the other one etc 50...

Question: Lets say placeholder is 100 x 100. Your image can be resized to 100 x 80 (because it should not be distorted while resizing). What to do with those 100 x 20 which are left? We should fill that non-image space with some "background" color. But which exactly? We can add BACKGROUND_COLOR option for that purpose. Will that work for you, webmasters?

ah i never thought if that idea, that would work brilliantly!
I use a personal gallery thingy online, and because some pics i take are portrait, in the gallery they are not all level, and can cause problems on some browsers , background colour sounds like a good idea!
