Title: Error. If I may. - Thankx in advanced
Post by: hello1 on August 12, 2008, 08:27:33 PM
Hello, Nice script. I have been looking for this for 3 years now. Now, I am not an expect with PHP but I am good with HTML. I have two questions for you if you don't mind.

1. My website is entirely HTML, does this work for it to, or what is the script for this to work.

2. I get an error message everytime I try to sign in, incorrect password. But it is showing in users.php.

I'm pretty certain you need to convert the pages you want to protect into .php pages. If not the php code been used to protect the page won't work. It's really no big deal unless you have lots of pages... anyways merely changing the extension of your pages from .html to .php should be fine and willnot affect the design or functionality of your page in anyway. My site was all html and i converted the pages i wanted protected to php, they still look the same but can now only be accessed by select users.

As for the error on signing in, check your manager.php (online..). Sign in with your admin password and look at the database there to check that the password is correct.

Hope this helps

I can confirm this is correct.
