Title: how to get location from IP
Post by: zubrag on November 28, 2006, 03:19:27 PM
Your IP address may disclose more information than you think. It is possible to retrieve country, state, city, and even internet service provider name. You can use following service for 20 free lookups a day (or pay for more).

http://www.ip2location.com (http://www.ip2location.com/?rid=93)

Enter an IP into the IP Address box at the right top corner and click Find Location button.

You can also run IP address query on your desktop even without network. Just download and install their application.
