Title: cpanel redirect
Post by: syns0r on October 04, 2007, 11:50:48 AM
I am trying to make a script that will create a redirect in cPanel.
the url i am trying to use is just like one to create emails and subdomains but for some reason it gives me a 404 when trying to do it.

the url structure is like this:
http://$cpuser:$cppass@$cpdomain:2082/frontend/$cpskin/mime/addredirect.html?path=$furl&url=$turl&type=$rtype

Do you have any suggestions?

::edit::
I slightly modified your version of creating subdomains to make redirects and it works so now I am redoin the code for it to work. I will send it to ya when I get done if you want.

Hi. Would be nice to have that code posted here, as others may also need to create redirects. Actually there is cPanel Toolbox (http://www.zubrag.com/forum/index.php/topic,239.0.html), which can create redirects among other things, but it is in beta stage yet and we are trying to simplify its usage.
Thanks!
