Post by: poshdosh on March 26, 2012, 06:13:55 PM
Plogin is a project run on google code and has the functionality of a database, php login script thingy. And was wondering if anyone could work out how to restrict pages and not just logon log off and register:

Link http://code.google.com/p/plogin/

I don't know much about php as I only code small websites e.g. Mine http://slapwall.co.uk/
But I would like to learn php does anyone know where to find free tutorials that are worth watching i do have a Lynda account but I just need to go on it

Thank you in advance

Did you try Advanced Password Protect (http://www.zubrag.com/scripts/password-protect-advanced.php) ?  It also provides signup, password reminder, and is not database dependent (requires only php to run). Also it can be incorporated into your page design, and it can restrict access to php files (by adding one line of code to files you'd like to protect)

Thanks I didn't see that looks complicated though, hopefully the instructions should help
