I recently bought a MacBk Pro w/ the Final Cut Express program. I have a panasonic camcorder model pv-gs31. My mac does not recongize it. I have tried two different fire wire cable (4 to 6 pin) and does not recognize it. The camera works on my kids PC (Windows). Any suggestions?

Which Panasonic model do you use? What’s the version of your Mac computer? Maybe it is not compatible with Mac OS? I suggest you convert your camera video formats into MOV or other suitable formats accepted with Mac or FCE. I am sure Moyea Video Converter for Mac works well in converting all kinds of videos. With this Converter, you are enabled to get whatever formats you want. Best luck!
