Greetings all of you suffering from the log out not working.  I ended up spending the last 48 hours agonizing over trying to get the stubborn thing to work.  Oh alleluia I finally got it, yes I did!  From what I have been reading, some of the browsers are fine but internet explorer 7 is what I have and it seems to be the worst for this task because it is impossible to stop it from caching.  The meta no-cache doesn't work.  Even setting "must revalidate" "max age" ect. in the htconfig file of Apache didn't work.  After logging out, the user can still hit the back button and get to the page, hit refresh and get to the page, or type in the url and get to the page.  Header expire = -1 made the back button go to an expired page but then the other two methods refresh and url brought it back up again and then the back button would too again.  Well, I finally have the solution and I would freely post it if I were gainfully employed but right now I am very poor and unemployed, so anyone that wants me to send you my hard earned solution that is guaranteed to work in ie7 and probably all the others, I will sell it for $20 to each that promises not to post it or further disseminate it.  ramblin54321@yahoo.com. I know sounds selfish but the worker is worthy of his wage especially when no income for so long in this bad economy. After a certain number of people buy the logout, I will give the excess to Zubrag who gave us a great include program.  Don't worry the solution is not in javascript which can be turned off, it is in php, code and explanation on a 3 and a half page word document 12pt. font. Next is login registration, form validation and escape strings, encrypting the data transfer and adding random time limited salt, captcha image, and hashed database storage.  Some whiz will probably post these solutions before anyone contacts me, more power to them.
