Hi, did I get it correct - that this script will only work to protect php webpages. So I cannot use it to protect my page if it is written in html?

yes, script can only protect php pages.

If php is not supported onyour server then script will not work.

If you have php installed you could try following:
1) just rename your html files to php (i.e. change extension)
or
2) make html pages work like php without changing extension

Otherwise you may want to look for some files/folder protection in your hosting manager (cPanel, Plesk, etc.).

Thank you so much, admin! To be honest, I found this solution yesterday, browsing through your forum It worked for me, once I renamed the page needing protection to .php
