Hi there,

I'm using this download file script and it appears to be lovely except when I point at an Excel file. I get a double file size reported...

So a file which is 131K on the server (tested by others to make sure i'm not going insane) downloads and shows 262K in the dialog box.

It's screwing up the file but I have changed nothign in the script when I tested it.

Anyone recognise this problem and can shed light on it?

Rob.

OK - update but not a solution yet.

The filesize() function is returning the wrong file size! it is returning double file size... wtf?

Anyone know what would cause that?

Ta...

Shoot me now... no actually i've done it myself already.
