Hi I put this e-mail in the comment section - I think I should have put it here.

Thanks for that great code!!

I don't know if it's possible to do this... I want to password protect an address book. However, when I try to "edit" "remove" or "add contact" it runs the script again and again. Is there a way to kill it after you enter initially?

To see what I mean please visit: http://www.actonhighschool.ca/6/address.php

Thank you!

Hi. The protection string should be added as the very first line of address.php. From error on your page it looks like protection string is not the first line in address.php. Does it help?

Hey Zubrag,

Thanks for the reply!

Actually no it didn't help.  I changed it around but what is happening is that every time you make a change it runs the whole page again - including the logon script.

 Huh

Now something is wrong in line 1 of address.php file. Could you send me address.php to admin-at-zubrag.com for analysis?

Zubrag figured it out.  Perhaps if anyone else has this problem I can help you out here....

What it was, was that when I copied and pasted the string in the top of the page, it put a tab stop in.  So the string was simply indented 5 spaces.  THAT screwed it up - everything else was fine.  Zubrag found it right away

Thanks!!
