Password protect worked once

Followed all instructions in loading PHP Script into FTP created folder.
Received protect key and copied into web page being protected.
Opened my web site home page, then selected protected page.
Login box appeared.  Entered User name/password and web page opened.

From this point on the protected page opens, without login box appearing.
If I close out the web site then reopen the protected page appears automactically.
Do I need to do something more, so that each time the page is visited the
login box will appear?  Thanks for your help!

It requests credentials only once per user per session (until you close browser). If you'd like it to ask password every time then remove all the lines starting from "setcookie" from password_protect.php file.
