how to recover data from formatted usb drive??

hi,

i forgot to take a backup of data which was stored in my USB external drive which i formatted recently. i had some important business files in that drive. any body tell me how to get back data from formatted drive.

Am using Snow leopard os on my computer and the data was nearly 16gb.

Hi penny,

Since you have formatted an external hard drive you cannot even use time machine to restore files but with the help of some hard drive recovery mac software you can recover all your deleted files from formatted drives before overwriting.

If you have not used your external USB drive after formatting, then download the software and get back all your files.
